Position: Digital Organizer

Position Summary:

The Kairos Center is looking for a full-time Digital Organizer with demonstrated expertise in social media strategy and analytics, and demonstrated, innovative digital presence. Reporting to our Communications Director, the ideal candidate plays a leading role in increasing visibility, engagement and audience, through social media, blogs/webcast, digital and print content.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for and execution of social media campaigns and accounts across the Kairos Center’s  platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Collaboratively set and track effective analytics benchmarks for measuring impact of campaigns and programs
  • Create compelling online content (social media and website)
  • Utilize social media for targeted media relations efforts
  • Produce and/or assist with virtual webinars and events
  • Create and manage digital content calendar
  • Produce video content and photos/images for various platforms (web & social media)
  • Liaise with colleagues to plan and create content
  • Manage and direct department interns
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, in related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in social media, marketing and communications, preferably with one year in social justice, religious/theological, or higher education setting
  • Fluency with Social Media platforms and management tools, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign and/or Canva, and HTML/CSS
  • Demonstrated analytics expertise to determine effective benchmarks for measuring impact of campaigns and programs
  • Photography, video and webinar experience
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • A passion for social justice and action is a must
·   Comfort working at the intersection of religion/faith, social justice and politics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience with social justice organizations
·   Experience with Action Network, Switcher, and StreamYard
