Born and raised in North Carolina, Ebony Watkins is a 2018 UNC Chapel Hill graduate with dual degrees from the Global Studies and Communications departments. Her experiences with grassroots organizing and labor justice work have led her to experiment with methods of creating political education materials with art. As she hones her drawing capabilities, she hopes to deepen her commitments to labor, racial, and economic justice through both continued community engagement and higher education.
