The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival’s National Day of Action – on Saturday, October 15th at noon, poor, low-income people, and their advocates will march on the main streets of the capital and other major cities across the country to encourage low-propensity voters who are suffering the most from attacks on our democracy to register and vote in the midterm elections.
Speakers will emphasize that their votes are not support but instead, they are demands that the issues of poor and low-income people and low-wage workers are at the center of our national narrative.
A roundup of the marches will be live streamed on poorpeoplescampaign.org/livestream at 6 pm EST in a National Day of Action Virtual Rally.
Here are 5 ways you can participate and help activate the power of the poor and low-wealth vote:
- Sign up at bit.ly/ppctothepolls to join a state march happening October 15th at noon. If there’s not a march happening in your state, you can still make plans to join us online for our virtual National Day of Action Rally LIVE at 6:00P ET
- Help get out the vote by joining our phone or text banking program. Hundreds of poor and low wealth people have registered & made plans to vote in this year’s midterm election because of volunteers like you, who have made calls and texts through this outreach effort!
