Face of the State
FACE OF THE STATE. This music video cantata is a project of The NY State Poor People’s Campaign and the Kairos Center. We believe that one of the strategies to create change is to shift the narrative by changing the narrators. In FACE OF THE STATE we have assembled dozens of stories from around the State that were collected by PPC members trained to use their cell phones to document conditions we all live under, and combined them with song and rap by Jendog Lonewolf, Lindsey Wilson, and Matt Puckett.
