What is the power of religion and human rights in building movements for justice and equality in our world today? Kairos Center director and national co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, Swami Agnivesh, long-time activist and leader with the Arya Samaj, a Hindu reform movement, and Union Theological Seminary professor Dr. John J. Thatamanil met last fall to discuss how faith and economics are playing out in social movements of the poor.
